              Ambrosia maple bowls
Ambrosia Maple bowls hand turned from a tree on the Newkirk Tavern grounds. George Washington sat under this tree. We mill fallen trees on the tavern grounds from which we turn these bowls. The grain and texture is umique with each bowl.
I do my woodworking in our 18th century stone tavern with century-old family tools in my shop in the Hudson Valley. The wood comes from sustainably grown, old-growth trees. Each piece is original craftwork made with old techniques and organic-modern design.
