Hand made in Hudson Valley at the historic Newkirk Tavern in Rosendale, NY

Snowy scene with a historic sign for Newkirk Tavern, built in 1781 by Gerrit Newkirk, in front of a snow-covered house with leafless trees.

I do my woodworking in our 18th century stone tavern woodshop shop on the edge of the Catskill mountains in the Hudson Valley. The wood comes from sustainably grown trees from the Catskills as well as wood from our property that I mill & dry myself. Each piece is original craftwork made with old techniques and organic-modern design. I use century-old tools passed down from my carpenter great-grandfathers along side modern tools.
